Claim Your Display
After connecting to WiFi, your display shows a 6-character claim code. Use this code to link it to your LuxWX account.
Note the code on your display
Your display shows a large 6-character code (letters and numbers). This code is unique to your device and expires after 24 hours.
Go to the claim page
Visit luxwx.com/eink/claim on your phone or computer, or scan the QR code on the display. If you scan the QR code, the claim code will be pre-filled for you.
Enter the code and select your station
Enter the 6-character code (if not pre-filled), then choose which weather station's data to show on the display. You can also give the display a name (e.g., "Kitchen", "Office").
Wait for the display to update
The display checks for its claim status every 15 seconds. Once claimed, it will show a confirmation with the station name, then start displaying weather data within a few minutes.
Code expired or not working?
Claim codes expire after 24 hours. Press the green button on your display to generate a new code. Make sure you're entering the code exactly as shown — the code uses only unambiguous characters (no O/0, I/1, etc.).
No stations available?
You need at least one weather station connected to your LuxWX account. Visit luxwx.com to sign in and connect a WeatherFlow station first.
Display still shows the claim screen after claiming?
The display polls every 15 seconds. Give it up to a minute to pick up the claim. If it still doesn't update, press the green button to trigger a manual refresh.
