Connecting to WiFi
Your display needs a WiFi connection to fetch weather data. Here's how to set it up.
Power on your display
Press the green button or connect USB-C power. On first boot, the display will enter setup mode automatically.
Connect to the LuxWX WiFi network
On your phone or computer, look for a WiFi network named LuxWX-XXXX (the last four characters match your display's ID, shown on screen). You can also scan the QR code on the display to connect automatically.
Enter your home WiFi credentials
A setup page should open automatically. If it doesn't, open your browser and go to 192.168.4.1. Select your home WiFi network from the list and enter the password.
Wait for the display to restart
After saving your WiFi credentials, the display will restart and connect to your network. This takes about 15–30 seconds. Once connected, it will show a claim code — proceed to claiming your display.
Can't find the LuxWX WiFi network?
Make sure the display is powered on and in setup mode (the screen should show setup instructions). Try moving your phone closer to the display. If the network still doesn't appear, press and hold both white buttons for 2 seconds to reset WiFi.
Setup page doesn't open automatically?
Open your browser manually and navigate to 192.168.4.1. Make sure you're still connected to the LuxWX WiFi network.
Display shows "Connecting" but never progresses?
Double-check your WiFi password. The display needs a 2.4 GHz WiFi network (5 GHz networks are not supported). Try resetting WiFi and entering the credentials again.
